There are many reasons why you should improve your health and fitness level. So many in fact, that I could dedicate much of this post telling you of the countless benefits greater health and fitness provides: improved mood, increased energy level, greater strength, reduced risk of many diseases, and improved body image to name a few. In the end it is your why that really counts. Whatever your motivation, the bigger your why the greater chance you will persist until you achieve it.
One of the best ways to move toward your why is to set SMART (Specific, Measurable, Action-Oriented, Realistic, and Tangible) goals. Having a clear picture of what you want, a deadline by which you will meet the objective, and an action plan on how to get there is essential. Nothing can stop a man, or woman with a plan.
